Jankola Library and Slovak Archives
Jankola Library and Slovak Archives is an American-Slovak research and cultural center established in 1968 in honor of Father Matthew Jankola, the founder of the Sisters of Saints Cyril and Methodius. It specializes in Slovakiana and related Slavic interests.
The print collection is catalogued under Dewey Decimal classification with two Cutter numbers.
Non-print holdings include audio tapes, phonograph records, slides, pictures, craft items, stamps, coins, etc.
Holdings include unique reserves of Slovak American annuals and literary almanacs. Bound newspapers number more than 175 volumes.
Jankola Library maintains an active exchange with institutions in Slovakia and with American and Canadian centers of similar cultural interests.
